Privacy Policy

What we collect from site visitors (worker contributors)

When you contribute GPU compute through a site running the Warppool widget, the following data is transmitted to the coordinator:

• GPU capabilities — vendor, architecture, max buffer size. Used to assign appropriately sized chunks.
• System info — CPU core count, device memory, platform, screen dimensions, battery level. Used for calibration.
• Chunk results — the numeric output of each compute chunk (e.g., hit counts). This is the work product.
• IP address — captured server-side from the WebSocket connection for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Not stored long-term.

We do not collect: names, email addresses, browsing history, cookies, fingerprints, or any form of personal identifier from widget visitors. No data leaves the browser except chunk results and the system metadata listed above.

What we collect from account holders

If you create a Warppool account (to submit jobs or manage API keys), we collect:

• Email address — for authentication (magic link sign-in) and account communication.
• Job data — kernels you submit, chunk manifests, and results.
• Billing information — if you use paid compute, payment details are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

Account data is stored for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Cookies and tracking

The Warppool widget uses no cookies and no third-party trackers. The marketing site (warppool.tech) uses a session cookie for authentication if you sign in. We do not use analytics services, ad networks, or tracking pixels.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Aggregate, non-identifying network statistics (worker counts, throughput, job completion rates) may be published publicly.

Security

All communication between workers and the coordinator uses TLS (HTTPS/WSS). Compute kernels run inside the browser's own GPU sandbox with no access to the filesystem, network, or host memory. The coordinator is deployed on Google Cloud Run with managed TLS certificates.

Children's privacy

Warppool is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact privacy@warppool.tech and we will delete it promptly.
